DRPL was appointed to give dilapidations advice to Poole Borough Council on a leased building. DRPL reviewed the relevant lease information which allowed for easy identification of any breaches of the lease during our site inspection. We reviewed the schedule of dilapidations served by the Landlord and prepared a schedule of works to rectify the agreed breaches. DRPL oversaw the works and ensured that the Landlord’s Surveyor was aware and in agreement of the proposed works to eliminate disagreements during the settlement of the dilapidations claim. As DRPL was specifying the works, we also took on the role of Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015.
